DMI (DNA Medicine Institute) is a Cambridge, MA based company dedicated to the development of innovative medical technology for diagnostics.

My Role: In-house Creative

I was responsible for graphic design, graphic communication, and advertising from concept to execution. Under this role, I was in charge of creating marketing and corporate identity materials, 3D animation of prototypes and scientific concepts, video editing, web design, and full-stack development and management for web.

DMI, Grand Prize Winner of the XPRIZE Nokia Sensing Xchallenge 2 Competition

With the rHEALTH technology, an advanced micro-volume biomarker analyzer, DMI, and its subsidiary company GigaDx, won the XPRIZE NOKIA Sensing XCHALLENGE 2 competition, a contest for discovering the next generation of sensors for the life sciences. See news coverage about the competition.

For the competition, I was in charge of:

  • Working with engineers and developers to design the UI for mobile devices to interface with the hardware of DMI's technology
  • Scripting, filming and editing of video tutorials to explain how to use the technology
  • Creating a communication strategy to promote our team's approach and the competition itself through social media

Though 3D rendering, some of DMI's technological innovations were featured in this ad.
